WHAT IS A SHOW FEE?

At the beginning of a new academic year we ask for a show fee from most classes. Show fees go towards the production your child will take part in. Show fees contribute to production costs and help pay for items such as: 

 

  • Show license, including music and scripts

  • Costumes (not including base layers) 

  • Sets 

  • Props

  • Venue

  • Lighting 

  • Sound & microphones

  • Additional rehearsals

  • Chaperones

  • And much more


Show fees from students account for around 20% of the total production costs. A show will always continue even if we are unable to break even through ticket sales and we will never ask for further contributions from parents.
