The Lawrence Osborne Saxophone Scholarship, proudly sponsored by ITC Martial Arts, offers a unique opportunity to learn the alto saxophone with expert guidance, no prior musical experience required!
What's included?

✅ Monthly Mentorship
Receive one hour of tuition per month from highly experienced NW1 woodwind teacher Vicky Greenwood. Sessions can be divided into shorter lessons and arranged at mutually convenient times at NW1 HQ.

✅ Instrument Loan
The scholarship provides the use of a high-quality Alto Saxophone, donated by Lawrence Osborne, including:
- Hard case
- Sling
- Mouthpiece
(Students will need to purchase reeds and a tuition book as advised by the mentor.)

WHO CAN APPLY?

Students aged 10–17 (younger applicants may be considered if they can support the instrument’s weight)

Open to NW1 students, and all young people in the local area

No previous musical knowledge is necessary

Open to new musicians and existing students who want to broaden their creative skills

Applications open 4th July 2025 to 4th August

Include parent name, child name, age, and why they would like to recieve the scholarship
Step 2: Shortlisted applicants will be invited for an informal interview with the Tutor and Principal in late August
